It makes absolutely no sense
at all that a sword could or would get or be set stuck in
a stone. What does make sense on the other hand, is that an
Ankh-type tool as described in this hypothesis could be set
to be stuck firmly to the surface
of a large stone and without the prior knowledge that it could
only be detached by turning,
rather than pulling,
nobody would be able to remove it.
Once detached, depending
upon its state of 'priming',
it would make a very fine "sword" indeed.
