Between 1955 and 1997 I made stringed instruments. This process started with the nailing of crude boxes together (at the age of eight) and progressed (?) to a series of several hundred electric guitars.

Many of these guitars were copies of the fabulous Telecaster™ and it was common for me to make all of the parts: plates, pick-ups, knobs, bridge saddles and of course, necks and bodies.

Rocking horses were a brief diversion during 1988/9. When one makes rocking horses, one soon discovers that one has inherited almost unlimited relations and friends, come Christmas. Be prepared.
