Pictured left is an artist's impression of some carbon fibers and one "water fiber" nestling in one of the capillaries formed between the carbon fibers. It is my (as yet unproven) hypothesis that because of the strong antipathy that water and carbon exhibit to each other, it should be possible to support such "water-strings" within a wire-wound carbon fiber-cored music string.
